15 Designer-Approved Early Amazon Black Friday Deals

Decorating and organizing your home doesn’t have to come at a great expense, especially if you take advantage of huge sales like Black Friday. As an interior designer, I know just how fast new pieces can add up, so if you’re working with a tighter budget, it’s the best time of year to splurge.

You can save big on everything from bedding and lamps to furniture and holiday decor, and give your space a refresh without totally breaking the bank—or at the very least, while getting more for your dollars.

While Black Friday is technically still weeks away, many retailers, including Amazon, have launched some honestly impressive early deals. So if you’re itching to start shopping now, I’ve got you covered with 15 designer-approved deals to shop ahead of the shopping holiday, some of which I even use in my own home. My picks start at just $7, and everything on this list is at a minimum of 30 percent off.

Bedsure King Quilted Down Alternative Comforter

This quilted down-alternative comforter is a lightweight (but still warm!) option that you can use year-round, and I love that it has eight tabs so you can secure it to any type of duvet cover. It’s also quilted to keep the filling evenly distributed throughout, which is ideal. While the comforter comes in all of the typical sizes, the best deal is on the king option—which just so happens to work perfectly with one of my go-to cozy tips: Use a king insert in a queen duvet cover for an extra full, plush look and feel.

Delamu 2-Tier Multi-Purpose Under Sink Organizers

One of the hardest places in your home to organize is under your kitchen and bathroom sinks. With pipes in the way, it’s hard to figure out how to best use the space you have in there, not to mention it’s hard to reach things in those bottom cabinets in the first place. These tiered organizers make it easy to access everything thanks to their slide-out shelves, and they look super sleek in the process.

Marycele Candle Warmer Lamp

It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of candle warmer lamps. They’re table lamps that allow you to enjoy your favorite scented (and unscented) candles without having to actually burn them, so you get a lovely diffused scent and that same warm glow—without an open flame or a burnt wick. Plus, they make your candles last much longer, in my experience. I love the fluted glass shade on this pick, and it’s nearly half off right now.

Lessymo 8’ x 10’ Washable Floral Area Rug

On the hunt for a pretty and affordable rug that you can throw in the wash whenever spills occur? The dark, moody colors and floral pattern on this area rug will add drama to your space, and it’s perfect for living rooms where kids or pets spend time, as well as dining rooms where a rug might otherwise be more prone to stains.

Signature Design by Ashley Gretlynn Dining Chairs

These solid wood dining chairs come in a set of two, making them just $55 apiece at their current sale price. The black colorway is super sleek, and the interesting, modern shape will definitely up the style factor in your dining room. Add simple cushions for a more plush, comfy feel, or even drape them with a faux fur rug for a glam look.

National Tree Company 6.5 ft Pre-Lit Slim Fir Tree

Amazon

If you don’t already have a Christmas tree, now is the time to snag an artificial tree while it’s deeply discounted. I have the unlit version (I like to add my own lights so I can customize the colors!) of this very tree and have used it for years. It’s not a fancy pick, but it’s easy to set up, easy to fluff, and looks beautiful once you’ve got it all decorated. If you don’t like to fuss with string lights, the built-in incandescent lights are just the thing you need for that effortless warm glow.

Ctsnslh Stackable Folding Closet Organizers, Set of 5

Amazon

As a designer, I don’t just care about style; making sure your space functions for you as best it can is a big part of my job. These stackable organizers are an affordable and genius way to make use of empty vertical space in your closet—think of them like adding custom shelves without having to pull out the tool box and stud finder. They fold up when not in use, so you can stash any extras away to avoid clutter.

Coavas One Way Window Privacy Film

If you want to take advantage of every ounce of sunlight in your home without sacrificing privacy, adding a frosted window film like this is an easy, renter-friendly way to go. It doesn’t use any sort of adhesives to stay up, just water, so you can move the film and reuse it as much as you need. And for less than $10 a roll? It’s a no-brainer.

Fezibo One-Piece Adjustable Standing Desk

Amazon

Standing desks tend to have a very industrial look, but if you work from home and want an option that’s a bit easier on the eyes without spending a fortune, this pick from Fezibo is for you. The white legs look light and breezy, and the single-piece maple wood desktop looks a lot prettier than the plastic ones on the market. At its current price, it’s absolutely a steal.

Lifewit 12” Floating Acrylic Shelves, Set of 4

Amazon

I love these clear acrylic shelves because you can use them in so many ways—they’re incredibly versatile. I used them in my own apartment to create a display of all of my favorite cookbooks in the dining room, but they can just as easily be used to show off art, vinyl records, and more. I even have a few mounted in my closet to organize small clutch purses.

Eufy 50’ Permanent Outdoor Lights

Amazon

If you’re once again dreading putting up your holiday lights outside this year, allow me to introduce you to what is sure to become your new best friend: permanent outdoor lights. They’re smart, color-changing, and waterproof, and all you have to do is install them once and forget about them (you know, until you want to customize the colors from season to season.) They’re designed to last for up to 55,000 hours of use, so you’ll get quite a few Christmases—and Halloweens, even—out of these.

Latepis Luxury Faux Fur Bubble Throw Blanket

Amazon

Faux fur throw blankets are a must-have if you like to snuggle up in front of the fire—or the TV. This affordable option has a trendy bubble texture to it that makes it look a lot more expensive than it is. It comes in six colors and multiple sizes, but I’m partial to this bright, creamy, rich-looking light beige.

iLeyaoyao Fluted Lift Top Storage Coffee Table

Attention small space-dwellers: This pick is for you. When you live in a more compact home, you need to get clever about how you incorporate storage into each room to avoid tons of clutter. A multi-tasking piece of furniture like this lift-top coffee table is the perfect example: The top lifts up to reveal hidden storage, and when the top is popped up, you can use it as a desk or even for dining, too.

SheetCube Bed Sheet Organizers, Pack of 6

Credit:

Amazon

No one likes to fold a fitted sheet, but when you have organizers that make storing your extra linens a whole lot easier, it stings a little less. These foldable containers not only allow you to keep all of your different bedding sets organized together (and labeled!), but there’s also a built-in folding mechanism to help you get it all together, too.

Suidia 71” x 32” Full Length Freestanding Mirror

Credit:

Amazon

One of the best—and most beautiful—ways to add more brightness and depth to your space is to add a large mirror. They bounce light around the room, making it appear lighter and bigger. The taller and wider they are, the better they look, in my opinion, but larger mirrors tend to be quite expensive. This 32-inch wide full-length mirror can stand freely or be mounted to a wall, is big and beautiful with its arched top and gold frame, and the markdown to $100 is honestly impressive.
