Back in the spring, we asked readers to nominate their favorites in 76 categories, everything from personalities like chefs, musicians, artists, and influencers to places like boutiques, breweries, spas, and surf shops. Once the finalists were determined in each category, we asked you to vote for your top picks—and your voices were heard, loud and clear!
We received more than 10,000 ballots, and after tallying the results, we’re excited to

Favorite decade in the world of design: I love the 1930s, brands like Biedermeier, and I love restoring furniture.
Design trend you love to hate: Gray was a trending color that I was happy to kiss
goodbye. Now we’re back to the whites and creams, which make for a great canvas.
Dream celebrity client: I’m not very starstruck, but I would love to see Dolly Parton’s home. I just can’t imagine what it would look like.
Oddest design project: I once did an upholstery job on a submarine.
