We are on the hunt for a seasoned designer to join our small but mighty team and lead projects. The role is full time + salaried but we are open to freelance designers and/or those based outside of the Twin Cities.

Description

Lead residential construction and furnishings design from concept to install alongside Design Principal

Create floor plans and elevations; develop and produce construction documents; execute redlines; produce detailed drawings, design boards, and selections; document selections and project specifications

Create and co-lead client presentations

Be involved with selecting and coordinating contractors, consultants, and vendor assignments in tandem with AMD’s team

Travel nationally to site visits; regularly visit our Minneapolis based studio if you are not local to the Twin Cities

Participate in installs and photoshoots

Qualifications

5+ years as an Interior Designer at a design firm required for consideration

Accomplished in CAD and Google Suite

Strong project management skills

Ability to attend site visits nationwide

Knowledge of custom and high end vendors including vintage dealers required

Our firm is known for its ability to blend classical design practices with natural, artful materials.

As an intentionally small firm we work collaboratively in a light drenched Minneapolis studio where you will always find good tunes and good scents. Our designs are best captured by talented photographers and stylists, which you can peruse on our portfolio.
